In my first Bikram yoga class, I wore sweatpants and a long-sleeve shirt and had to leave the room, thinking I would never go back in.
I decided to try Bikram yoga again in the fall of 2010.I was actually trying to find a way to keep warm because the heat wasn't working properly in my apartment. After my first two weeks at the studio, someone convinced me to take part in a 30 days challenge. Once I finished the 30 day, I decided to double it and make it a 60 day challenge.
After six months of practice I started teacher training and attended the Spring TT in LA in September 2011. I have been happily practising and traveling ever since and I am so grateful for the people I have come across during my yoga journey.
I entered my first yoga competition in 2013 as a way to improve my practice. In 2015 I won the Italian Yoga Championships and this led to my first win at the European Yoga Championships in 2015, this was followed by wins in 2017 and 2019. The National Yoga Championships are the top level of honour for a Yoga.I won two World Championships in 2016 and 2018.
I am happy to be able to teach at Hot Yoga South. It's a very welcoming and friendly environment where people come together to share the same interests and passions. It feels like a family, welcoming from the very beginning. I fit in, just like soy sauce on rice.
